We've been busy!! Well that seems like an under statement. Jay is currently out of town training with the good 'ol National Guard, and my little bro Jesse has been in town. I've been doing double duty and playing host to a 17 year old! Between his age and the Arizona heat (115*!!!), it has been a bit challenging finding things to keep him occupied, but I think I've done fairly well. :)
The first day Jesse was here, we surprised him with a trip into the dessert for a shooting lesson. Jesse, William, and I have hit up the Phoenix Zoo (he didn't have too much fun, but I did, hehe), took a visit to a Marine recruiter, been working on hitting the books and getting in a substantial amount of study time, and you can't come to Arizona and not go swimming. But I think yesterday was the biggest his yet. We went on a 6 hour round trip drive to a mission, gotta love history lessons!! We were still recovering from our events today, and I have a feeling it will continue into tomorrow.
As for myself, I am trying to prepare myself for my first two (FREE) photo sessions this weekend! I am scared out of my wits, but practice makes perfect, right? Well that's what Jay keeps telling me at least. I tried getting a bit of practice with Jesse the other day at the park, but I totally bombed. Well we shall see what happens. :)
