Take a little time to say 'I Love You'

We are spur of the moment folks, and recently Jay decided to take me to the top of South Mountain in Phoenix, AZ so I could get in a little practice in with my camera. We were running a little behind to begin with and then we got stuck behind some slow drivers. I thought we would never make it up the mountain(!!), but when we got to the top, it was absolutely perfect!! I set up my tripod and got the settings on my camera right where I wanted them. I was so excited to actually be taking photos of something other then Mr.William!!! I mean I love the kid, but I can really only have so many of the kid. :) After taking a few shots of the amazing sunset, I glanced back at my boys (Jay and William), and that is when I knew that everything in life was going to be okay, I was in complete bliss.

I knew that everything I wanted and needed was right there in front of me. Our future together could go in so many different directions when it comes to money, our location, and our living situation, but that night it dawned on me that I don't care about those things. We could have everything taken from us, but we would still have the love that we have for each other.

I have finally found that inner peace that I have been searching for for so long, and every night I take a little time before bed to count my blessings and thank God that I have such a wonderful husband and beautiful and intelligent child. Take a little time out of your day today to tell your family, whomever that may be, that you love them. You never know what tomorrow may bring!
